In order to achieve this objective, CICEX considers the international projection of institutions and companies, broadening commercial horizons, developing new markets or consolidating existing ones, expanding brand awareness or disseminating a specific technology or innovation. 

In addition to the traditional media, CICEX is inserted into the information chains and manages to be present in institutional, university, business and citizen networks linked to the development of essential services for the community and citizens, and this is what allows us to identify the crucial elements, trends, objectives and plans that define future projects and allow identifying basic needs, how to address them while offering solutions.

To achieve this objective, CICEX has developed the NexusCITYbcn brand, which is postulated as a meeting point and bridge between public entities, business organizations, educational institutions, NGO’s and professionals for the development of projects and initiatives that promote sustainable development.

NexusCITYbcn deploys its objectives through the organization of Congresses and forums. With this purpose, the "International Congress of Municipalities and Companies for Sustainable Development in Ibero-America" ​​is convened as a regular meeting in different cities of Ibero-America.

This instrument, together with the associative nature and the collaborators deployed in various countries, allow CICEX to have a constant presence in many cities and countries of the world. At the same time, facilitates the internationalization of companies through participation in public-private development projects, the connection with technological innovation projects and the detection of needs in international markets, mainly in Ibero-America, the Caribbean and Africa.
